Confession Time

This isn't my actual confession, but needs to be said...I AM NOT ENJOYING THIS HEATWAVE!!!!!  Me (to Bob):  Promise me that we are never moving to the deep South.  Bob:  I promise.  Me:  I don't want to go to the far north either, I don't want cold.  Bob:  OK.

Now for confession time...

As you know if you have been keeping up with this blog, or if you know Bobby at all, he has been in the swimming pool for hours every day.  We haven't missed a day in quite a while since we haven't had any rain and the temps have been getting higher and higher every day.

While we were swimming this morning, it dawned on me...Bobby hasn't had a bath in almost 2 weeks!!!!

His favorite time of the day to swim is in the evening.  He doesn't generally get out of the pool until close to bedtime and is clean from the 2 previous hours in the pool water.

But my poor kid hasn't had his hair washed in a couple of weeks.   Good thing he has a buzz cut!

I am either the worst Mom, or...

he is the luckiest kid to get to skip baths!!!

I'm voting for luckiest kid...he doesn't smell, his hair isn't greasy and we have been saving money not using up his expensive body wash/shampoo for sensitive skin (he likes to take bubble baths).

Looks like another bath free day in his immediate future.  The heat wave is supposed to end today.  Tomorrow it is supposed to be back in the 80s and I CAN'T WAIT!!  The pool water temp is in the 90s and not even refreshing anymore.  You get in the pool and get wet, not cooled off.

Not complaining, still extremely happy that we have a pool!!!
