Hello, Hello

Yesterday afternoon, for some unexplained reason, our power went out for a few hours.  Since this happens often, I have an old-fashioned, some may even say, antique phone that doesn't require power that I switch out with our home phone during power outages.  When the power was restored, I switched the phones back but left the old phone sitting on the kitchen table.  Yes, I know, I should have put it away immediately but we would have missed the fun that happened next!

Bobby became very interested in the old phone.  He saw me talking on it during the outage (I called to report the power outage and this is soooo much easier to do on the number that is listed on the account, you don't have to give any additional information).  Bobby picked up the phone and went over to the mirror.  Bobby:  "hello, hello, hello."  Me:  "Nobodies there!" (in my best Laurie Berkner band imitation).  For some reason he then put it on his head...

Bob and I laughed and laughed and laughed some more.  He did this for quite a while.  Not sure what was going on in his head!!

He then got a new idea and ran over to get the other phone...

Oh my goodness, was this ever comical!!  He is so curious about the cord hanging from the old phone.  I can just imagine the thoughts going on in his head..."all phones should have this awesome cord handing from them, they would be so much more awesome!!"  He is so much fun to watch when he gets an interest in an item, I would just LOVE to know what is actually going on in his though process when these interests pops up!!
