It's the Weekend

Sunday:
Day 3 of the pool being open.  Bobby came downstairs at 8:00 am with one thing on his mind, "swimming...swimming...swimming...swimming....swimming."  No Bobby it's too cold outside.  You will have to wait.  Finally by 9:00 Bob and I couldn't stand listening any more and took him SWIMMING!!!  However, it was in the 50's outside and the water temp was in the low 60's.  Bob and I had on pants, long sleeve shirts and coats, but Bobby, well he was dressed ready to swim...

Thankfully he didn't get in, he just wanted to sit by the pool and watch his beloved waterfall.  The pool was almost clear but as soon as Bobby comes outside he turns the waterfall on and the pool gets a little foamy.

Zoi came outside too, perfect weather for her, after all she is sporting a fur coat!!

The morning was beautiful and the kids had a pretty view...

We didn't stay out long this morning.  But it was only a couple of hours later that we heard, "swimming, swimming, swimming, swimming...."  After lunch we headed back out to the pool.  At least this time the temp was 70 and Daddy got he solar heater hooked up and the water was getting warmer...a whooping 66 degrees!!  However, this was enough for Bobby to get in and play!!

 Oh how he missed his waterfall.

 He's the happiest boy in the world!

He finally got out, looked back at me and said "1..2..3" so that I would give him the countdown to jump into the pool...

Bob often says that Bobby is as strong as "woodpecker lips."  I can't even imagine jumping into that cold water, but Bobby-He LOVES it!!

Saturday:
Day 2 of the pool being open.  Bob and I cleaned leaves while Bobby played in the water.  He only got in for a few minutes at a time, but got in a few different times throughout the day.

He wanted to get in sooooo very badly, but it took a while.  The wind was making the temp situation worse.  Who wants to get out of the ice cold water to a super windy day.  No thank you!!  Looks like we need to cut down on Bobby's liquid intake...

I know, young boy humor!!

Friday:
After I picked up Bobby from school and took him to therapy, I brought him home and dropped him off to Daddy and I was off again, this time to my Grandma Violet's 90th birthday party.

Thursday:
Before the pool was open, Bobby was still happy laying in the yard watching the world...

We played ball again.  I just couldn't get the ball into the picture for some reason.  Throwing the ball...

Now, it's time to get ready for Monday.  Poor Bobby will be in school day dreaming about swimming in his pool.  Can't believe that there are only a few more weeks left of this school year, it feels like it just started.
