I had been wanting to take Bobby to the beach area of the Cheat Lake Park, so that turned into our play date plan. However, we found out from another friend that all of the rain that we have received this summer really hit the beach area hard. The sand is gone and dirt remains. Hummmm, time for a new plan. We decided to just leave the bathing suits at home and let the kids play at Cheat Lake Park without any talk of swimming.
Bobby has been working on Natalie's name during therapy and when I asked him "who is this?" when we got out of the car, he said "Nat-a-lee." Whoo Hoo!! Yes, Bobby, it is Natalie!!! Time to walk down the big hill and play...
What a perfect day for a play date....mid 70's with a nice breeze and blue skies. Getting to look out over Cheat Lake while they play is just an added bonus.
Perfect views while the kids play...
My favorite thing....pictures of happy kids playing!!
An awesome play date. So proud of how well the kids played even with other kids on the playground. Wouldn't you know it....there was also another child with autism already there playing.
When it was time to leave, they both left without any fussing and Bobby went back up the hill with gusto...time to go get some lunch!!!
