1st Grade Fall Pictures

Well, Bobby's school pictures came in today and I am always afraid to look (especially for the fall pictures where you have to pre-pay).  This morning his teacher told me that they came out well, but I always have to see to believe...

He won the battle!!  He is sitting and actually looking at the camera.  One day, he will get smiling too.  Baby steps!!

Boy when I see this big boy in this picture, it makes me wonder where did my baby go?  I can't believe that this is his 5th year at Skyview Elementary.  In WV the school system takes over after kids with disabilities age out of WV Birth to Three.  Five years ago I put my 3 year old baby boy on a school bus and sent him off to school (makes me tear up just thinking about the stress of that time).  He spent 3 years in the pre-K program, one year of Kindergarten and now he is in the 1st grade.  Parents all tell you that you won't believe how the time will fly, but you can't even grasp what that means until you become a parent.
